Discord Scrum Board ("the Service") is a project-tracking board that runs as a Discord Activity, together with its companion bot. By adding it to a Discord server or using it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, remove the app.
The Service is in early access and is provided free of charge. Features may change or be removed, and it may be unavailable at times. There is no uptime commitment.
You need a Discord account in good standing and must meet Discord's own minimum age requirement for your country (13 in most places). You are responsible for anything done through your account.
Projects, tasks, stories, descriptions and any other text you enter remain yours. You grant the operator only the permission needed to run the Service: to store that content, and to display it to members of the Discord server it belongs to. Content is scoped to the server it was created in.
By default, any member of a Discord server can view and change that server's boards. A board can instead be restricted to a Discord role, or to the people who can read a particular Discord channel — in both cases the Service asks Discord who qualifies rather than keeping its own list. Server administrators can see every board regardless, because they can already read every channel in Discord.
Changing a board's structure — its columns, its fields, or deleting it — is limited to server administrators. Creating and editing tasks is open to any member who can see the board.
Access may be suspended or removed where it is being used abusively, unlawfully, or in a way that threatens the Service for others.
The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. It is not a system of record. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data, profits or business, arising from your use of the Service.
You may stop at any time by removing the app from your server. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to data afterwards.
These terms may change. The date at the top shows when they last did. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
